Out of Afrika
Check out the TGS trailer for Sony's virtual safari
In all the TGS chaos, it's nice to see some of that next-generation oomph going towards relaxation rather than stressful combo-chasing and time-trialing. For Xbox 360 owners, it's the lovely ladies of DOAX2, and for would-be PS3 owners, it's the lovely wildlife of Afrika.
Check the Movies tab above for some truly nature documentary-worthy footage of cheetahs, zebras, giraffes and (our favorite) hippos doing their thing on the virtual savannah.
While some TGS attendees were still none the wiser as to exactly what you do in the game, we were told by a Sony rep when it made its first E3 showing that it was a photography title - so put away those light-guns, you lot, you won't be bagging any elephants here.
No release date has yet been announced for Afrika (which may not even be its final title), but we can't wait to see more of it - nor can we resist a pop that hopefully the PS3 won't cost as much as a real African safari by the time we do.
