Owen Wilson and Pierce Brosnan are on the run in new trailer for No Escape: watch now
A new trailer has landed for No Escape, John Erick Dowdle’s action thriller in which Owen Wilson and Lake Bell are caught up in a violent revolt after moving their family to Southeast Asia.
All seems suitably idyllic, until an uprising from the country’s downtrodden population against the military regime soon results in all hell breaking loose.
Desperate to get his family to safety, Wilson teams up with Pierce Brosnan’s grizzled ex-pat, who just happens to be a fully paid-up badass...
Take a look at the new trailer, below…
Wilson might not seem the obvious choice to play a family man / action hero, but he does have Brosnan backing him up, and the former 007 is never less than watchable in this kind of thing.
Directed by Dowdle, No Escape will open in the US on 2 September 2014 and the UK two days later.
