Paramount confirms dates for Terminator: Genisys sequels
Second and third films to arrive in 2017 and 2018
Paramount has confirmed that Terminator: Genisys will receive a pair of sequels, with the second and third films in the newly-rebooted series to land in 2017 and 2018.
The second film in the series is now officially confirmed to arrive in US cinemas on 19 May 2017, while the third film will open on 29 June 2018.
The two sequels are set to film back to back, assuming of course that the first film performs well enough at the box office to justify pressing ahead with the series.
Plot details surrounding Terminator: Genisys remain few and far between, although we know that Sarah Connor, John Connor and Kyle Reese will all feature, as will the T-800.
Directed by Alan Taylor and co-starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney, Terminator: Genisys will open in the UK on 26 June 2015.
