Paranormal Activity 5 to arrive in 3D?
The Paranormal Activity juggernaut continues to rumble forward, with news emerging that the fifth film in the series is set to be released in 3D.
Given that the series is rooted in the found footage genre, 3D has never come into play thus far, but according to Bloody Disgusting, that is about to change for Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension.
Perhaps that title holds a clue as to how the technique will be employed, with the sequences set in the “Ghost Dimension” possibly benefitting from the added technology.
Plot-wise, we don’t have much in the way of specifics, save for the fact that the story will revolve around a new family being tormented by a supernatural being. Which sounds about right to us…
Production is now underway on the film, directed by Gregory Plotkin and starring Tyler Craig, which is set to open in the UK and US on 13 March 2015.
