If you grew up in a PlayStation household, you've probably heard of PaRappa the Rapper and Gitaroo Man. Though created by different developers at different times, these games are legendary for their artistic direction and are credited with helping define the music rhythm genre. And now, it looks like the creators of these two iconic virtual musicians will be joining forces.
A report over at Rice Digital claims that a new game under the working title "Project Rap Rabbit" is under development. Ladies and gentlemen of the rhythm-inclined jury, I present evidence exhibit A:
A source has confirmed to GamesRadar that this is indeed a collaborative effort between Masaya Matsuura and Keiichi Yano, the designers behind PaRappa and Gitaroo Man, respectively.
There's no word on when we'll get to see more or what form this game will take, but judging by the excitement over the PaRappa PS4 remaster, I'd say this is one worth keeping an eye on.
