Patrick Wilson in talks to join Ant-Man
In discussions over an unknown role
Edgar Wright's Ant-Man may be on the brink of another high-profile addition to its steadily growing cast, with Patrick Wilson the latest name to be linked to the project.
The Wrap reports that Wilson has entered negotiations to join the Marvel project, although nothing is known about the potential role he might be tak i ng on.
Paul Rudd has already been confirmed as protagonist Scott Lang, while Michael Douglas will co-star as his predecessor in the Ant-Man suit, Hank Pym.
Evangeline Lilly has been heavily linked to the role of Pym's daughter, while Michael Peña is also thought to be close to signing on to play a significant character in the new film.
Directed by Wright from a script co-written with Joe Cornish, Ant-Man will open in the US on 17 July 2015, with a UK date yet to be confirmed.
