PAX Australia announced, PAX Prime 2013 extended
Hello Oceania!
The phenomenon that is the Penny Arcade Expo is officially expanding as today it was announced that the gaming expo will be adding a third location in Australia.
The announcement came straight from Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins at their panel today during PAX Prime 2012 which takes place Friday through Sunday.
As of right now there is no indication of which city might be holding the event. They also announced that in 2013, PAX Prime in Seattle will be expanding as well, adding a fourth day to the festivities.
The extra day will no doubt allow them time to bring in more people to the convention, but also the chance to spread out panels and events. As it stands, gamers face tons of tough choices about what panels and tournaments to attend and which to skip.
We'll update this with more information if we're able to find out which Australian city is planned to host the event.
