Peeping Tom returning to cinemas
Celebrates its 50th anniversary
Peeping Tom , the seminal ‘60s classic, is sneaking back into cinemas to celebrate its 50th birthday this November.
Released the same year as Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, Peeping Tom quickly became one of the most controversial British films ever made thanks to its risqué content.
Now celebrated as a misunderstood masterpiece, Tom has matured with age and is lauded as a witty, powerful British horror.
On 13 November, The Curzon Soho cinema will be holding a special screening event. Not only can you catch a remastered version of the film on-screen, but you can attend a special recording of a BBC Radio 4 discussion about the film.
On the panel will be Martin Scorsese, Thelma Schoonmaker-Powell and Columba Powell. Doors open at 5pm, and tickets can be bought for £22.50. To book online, head over here .
Peeping Tom is back in cinemas from 19 November.
