PGR4 set for DLC explosion!
New cars, game modes and achievements - and it's (half) free!
Bizarre Creations has revealed its downloadable content plans for Project Gotham Racing 4 - and by golly, it's not doing anything half-arsed.
Two 'Challenge Packs' are due on Xbox Live next month (February 14 - proper romantic, like) one for the reasonable asking price of 400 Microsoft points (around 5 bucks or 3 quid) and a second for absolutely free.
The free pack comes with the hydrogen-powered 2007 Peugeot Flux, winner of the 2007 Peugeot International Design Competition. And if you don't like funny looking concept cars, there are two new game modes; Tourist Mode, which lets you tool around cities checking out sights with friends, and Free Roam Cat and Mouse, where a slow mouse vehicle must avoid enemy cats.
The 'Premium' pack adds an even bigger game mode called World Challenge Arcade. This sets players with 20 arcade events in three themed chapters, including five events that can only be done on platinum, which half of us won't be able to do.
The paid package also gives you seven new cars with all kinds of numbers in their names; the 2008 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Concept, 2007 Volkswagen Golf GTI W12-650, 2007 Peugeot Flux, 1987 BMW M3 E30 DTM, 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia, 2008 Honda S2000 CR, and 2008 Callaway C16 Speedster.
For those who use bikes, the pack also comes with the 2007 Yamaha YZF-R1, 1995 Aprilia RS 250, and 1998 Aprilia RSV 1000 Tuono R.
Both come with ten new Achievements worth 250 Gamerpoints. Head over toBizarre's websitefor even more info and check out some new screenshere.
