Play as first-mate-turned-assassin Adewale in Assassin's Creed 4 season pass

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag's season pass headlines a new story starring Adewale, Captain Edward Kenway's first mate, and other extra content for the game. Ubisoft today revealed a $20 season pass for its open-world buccaneering and multiplayer game.

The Freedom Cry DLC takes place 15 years after Black Flag's main story, when Adewale has become a seasoned assassin himself. The former slave finds himself shipwrecked without friends or equipment on Saint-Domingue (now Haiti and the Dominican Republic), where he is drawn to aid local slaves in seeking their own liberty across a roughly three hour campaign.

The season pass will also include extra single-player missions, weapons, and collectibles for Kenway's story, an exclusive Kraken-themed ship customization pack, and extra multiplayer characters.

In further DLC news, Ubisoft published a video offering a look at exclusive content for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4: three missions starring Aveline from Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation. It's free, but you'll have to buy it on PlayStation to catch up with the Vita heroine.
