Play Xbox One and PS4 at GAME stores across the UK

Retailer GAME is offering consumers the chance to play Xbox One and PS4 at a series of hands-on events across the UK in the run-up to the consoles’ release dates next month.

The Xbox One events are already underway and run until November 20, two days before the console's launch date. Over 60 GAME stores will open their doors after hours for the sessions, offering hands-on time with Xbox One launch games including Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, Ryse and Killer Instinct.

The PS4 events will also be held at more than 60 GAME stores between October 21 and November 17, 12 days before the console goes on sale in the UK. Playable titles will include Knack, FIFA 14, Super Mother Load, Octodad, Pinball Arcade and Contrast.

Entry to the events is on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested in attending can register at their nearest participating store in person, over the phone, or send them a tweet. Xbox One event attendees must be over 18 and PS4 event attendees over 16, with ID required for entry.

In the US, the first wave of PS4 hands-on kiosks is ready to play at Sony store locations nationwide. And a worldwide Xbox One hands-on tour is currently underway. Running until the end of the year, it will take in 75 cities with the initial phase covering Europe, the US and Canada.
