PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale will have two free DLC characters including Emmett Graves
You know, Emmett Graves!
The first DLC for PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale has been confirmed, adding two characters to the already burgeoning roster at some point early next year. Better still, they'll both be available for download for free. The characters in question are Kat from PS Vita's Gravity Rush and the unforgettable PlayStation action hero Emmett Graves. You know, Emmett Graves. From StarHawk? Ah, there it is. Here's a picture of him in case you can't remember what he looks like:
Both characters will have story scenes integrating them into the full game, according to a post on the PlayStation Blog written by fighting game master Seth Killian. Seth was drafted in to make the fighting as good as it can be, having formerly worked at Capcom (as adviser on Street Fighter IV among other things) and co-founded the EVO fighting tournament. The blog post also reveals that Emmet will be able to call down help from the sky using StarHawk's 'Build and Battle' system.
Whether Emmet Graves truly counts as an 'All-Star' is debatable, but we'll reserve judgment for our review, which should be with you very soon. PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale has 'gone gold' and is heading to PS3 and PlayStation Vita on November 20 in the US and November 23 in Europe.
