PlayStation's bonus Assassins Creed 4 and Watch Dogs DLC is timed exclusive
Previously announced bonus content for the PlayStation versions of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and Watch Dogs will be exclusive to Sony’s consoles for six months. The exclusivity period was revealed in a new Sony video which declares PS4 “the most powerful next-gen console”. It also says that over 180 games are in development for the system, which Sony claims is “more than [for] any other next-gen console”.
The PlayStation versions of Ubisoft’s games both promise to offer "60 minutes of exclusive gameplay". While the Watch Dogs content hasn’t been specified, the Assassin's Creed 4 content will consist of three missions starring Aveline de Grandpré, the female protagonist of Vita game Assassin's Creed III Liberation. “It’s a ways forward so Aveline is a bit older,” AC4 lead writer Darby McDevitt said in July. “It’s not directly related to the end of her story. If Assassin’s Creed 4 is like a novel, Aveline’s missions are like a short story.”
