With its added Steel type after evolution, Escavalier is not only capable of dealing massive physical hits but can also take hits easily with its bulky defenses. In fact, Escavalier has the distinction of having the highest physical attack stat of any Bug-type, so make sure you make use of Mega Horn, a powerful base 120 physical Bug-type attack that Karrablast can learn through breeding.
Karrablast has an unusual means of evolution that it shares with fellow Bug-type Shelmet - you must trade a Karrablast for a Shelmet to get them both to evolve. Escavalier gets his armor by stealing it from Shelmet as they pass each other during the trade.
