While plenty of Pokemon Go players were upset about update 0.31's removal of the tracking system, another sub-set of fans were voicing their displeasure at the removal of Battery Saver mode on iOS. While there's no word on when tracking will return, developer Niantic has said that Battery Saver will return soon.
"We have been hearing the feedback loud and clear about the removal of the Battery Saver mode on iOS devices," reads a new post on the official Pokemon Go Facebook page. "We had removed this feature as several users were experiencing it to be buggy, but we are fairly confident that a fix for this should roll out within the next several days".
That's twice in one week that Niantic has offered an update on the state of this uber-popular game. Hopefully it's just the start of the company becoming more talkative and making amends to a playerbase that has felt confused and frustrated the past few weeks.
