Poll: What's your favourite sci-fi/fantasy movie of the '80s?
It was the decade that produced some of the greatest sci-fi and fantasy movies of all time – everything from crowd pleasers like Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, and The Goonies, to the serious SF of Blade Runner, and the body horror of The Fly. In fact, I'd go as far as saying that the ’80s was responsible for more bona fide genre classics than any other era.
Which is why our sister magazine SFX wants YOU to vote for your favourites.
SFX magazine's '80s movie poll wants to sort your Empire Strikes Backs from your Aliens, and your ETs from your Labyrinths. All you need to do is skim through the list below (it's in alphabetical order to make it a little bit easier*) and pick your 10 favourites. No need to panic if one of your personal faves isn't there – you can enter your own choice at the bottom.
The poll closes on Wednesday August 16 and the results will appear in SFX magazine in October so you can see which movie came top!
