Possible cameo for Darth Vader in Rogue One
Plot details remain on the sparse side for Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One, but according to Birth. Movies. Death., the spin-off could feature a cameo from none other than Darth Vader himself.
Billed as something akin to a heist movie, the new film will follow a band of rebels attempting to steal the blueprints to the Death Star, and as such will focus on a host of all-new characters. However, there may well be room for everyone's favourite Sith Lord.
According to the report, Vader will not be the primary villain of the piece, but will be a secondary antagonist, possibly the man pulling the strings behind the scenes. That said, he is expected to make an on-screen appearance, potentially as a holographic projection or similar. Hopefully he'll still have the scope to snap at least one neck...
Directed by Gareth Edwards and co-starring Felicity Jones, Ben Mendelsohn and Riz Ahmed, Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One will open in the UK and US on 16 December 2016.
