Poster For Paranormal Activity
Horror flick one sheet released online
Horror film Paranormal Activity was made way back in 2007, and after many delays and much ball dropping, Paramount have finally scheduled a US release for later this month, with the film hittng these shores in late November.
The film, which has recieved rave reviews at festival screenings over the last year, concerns a young couple who film themselves sleeping with the hope of catching a glimpse of a ghost that is causing them trouble.
The 'found footage' gimmick that worked so well in Blair Witch, Cloverfield and [Rec] is rolled out to great effect here, and for a premise that may not exactly pique your interest, the internets are rife with buzz for the indie thriller.
Not exactly lighting your screen on fire, but the basic concept works, and the psychology behind the statement 'Don't See It Alone' is as old as the horror film itself.
We have been looking forward to this one for a while, if only to see if it lives up to the buzz. Watch this space for a trailer.
