Priscilla not Southfork bound
Former Dallas star puts the boot in to big screen revamp
No sooner has the Dallas movie recovered from one body blow (director leaves! New director hired!) than one of the show’s most cherished alumni dishes out a kick to the clusters.
Priscilla Presley, who appeared in the original TV show as Jenna Wade, expressed her concerns over the fact that Dallas was an ‘80s show and an update might not be able to capture that Southfork Ranch raunchiness.
"I'm very reluctant about it because I don't know how it can get better than what we had,” the former Mrs Elvis stated.
“This is a whole new generation and I don't know if they will appreciate it as much as our generation. We grew up with it, we knew the characters very well, we knew the actors very well. It is a different time period now. I don't know if I would want to be in something that was already successful and risk myself with something that may or may not be."
Don’t worry yourself too much Priscilla - we don’t think you're gonna get an invite...
