Pro Evolution Soccer 4 release date confirmed
Konami announce PES 4 will hit PS2 on 15 October, with Xbox and PC versions to follow a month later
You need only wait another three weeks for Pro Evolution Soccer 4 with Konami today announcing that the game will be released for PS2 on 15 October. The Xbox and PC versions will follow in November.
The latest incarnation of the seminal footie series - which is based on the Japan-only - includes the use of 56 clubs under licence from the Spanish and Dutch leagues along with every club from the Italian league.
"Each year, the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise gets bigger and bigger and the launch of Pro Evolution Soccer 4 represents possibly the biggest advance for the series to date," reckons Konami's Martin Schneider. "The addition of licensed clubs, vastly improved gameplay, and its association with some of the biggest names in football in Henry, Totti and Collina, proves how important it is to Konami, and we anticipate huge sales as eager fans queue for their copies on 15 October."
