Pro Evolution Soccer handheld details
Infinitely more finished than the PS3 version
Dec 13, 2007
Konami has coughed up some details on the portable versions of PES 2008, which is being worked on by Konami's football studio in Tokyo.
The PSP game will share a lot of content with the existing PlayStation 2 game (and not the broken bits of the PS3 version) such as a wide range of tournaments and leagues.
Full Edit modes are also in there and Master League info can be swapped between the PSP and PlayStation 2 versions, as can League, World Tour and Cup Mode data.
On the DS side of things, you'll get modes such as Exhibition, Penalty Shoot-Out and Konami Cup. Wireless features are also being used with a Network mode allowing up to four players to have a virtual kick about (if they've all got copies of the game). One-on-one games, however, can be played with just one copy.
Look for the handheld versions in shops early next year.
