Prometheus Blu-ray special features confirmed
Questions will be answered, apparently...
Prometheus was one of this year’s most talked about films (over here, particularly), so the special features on the home entertainment release are something we’ve been keeping our eyes peeled for.
Well, the full list of extras has been announced, and it’s looking like an impressive bounty, particularly if you’re getting the 3D Blu-ray.
Here’s the full list of special features on each format (3D BD, BD, DVD):

Prometheus Blu-ray
• Theatrical Cut

• Commentary by Writer Jon Spaihts and Writer/Executive Producer Damon Lindelof
• The Peter Weyland Files

Prometheus DVD

We also found out that the deleted scenes are titled ‘Our first alien',‘Strange bed fellows’, and ‘We’re not alone anymore’, which doesn't give a huge amount away but is intriguing nonetheless.
What really caught our interest is the fact that the movie itself is specifically referred to as the theatrical cut. Is this an unsubtle hint to tell us that a director’s cut is on its way at some point in the future? We can but speculate...
Prometheus is available on Blu-ray 3D Collector’s Edition, Blu-ray and DVD from 8 October 2012. Our Christmas list is swelling already…
