PS3 GTA IV bundle finally confirmed
You get the game, console and (sigh) a Sixaxis controller
Sony has finally confirmed its plans to release a PS3 GTA IV hardware bundle in Europe when the game launches on April 29.
The European bundle will contain a 40GB PS3, a Sixaxis controller (that's unfortunately the one without rumble) and a copy of the game, and will weigh in a £319.99 (which is like $630).
This comes more than two weeks after a very official-looking bundle appeared on a German retail site, although neither Sony nor Rockstar would validate its existence at the time.
"We are delighted to offer the millions of PS3 and GTA fans the ultimate gaming package," said David Reeves, President, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
We'll see if we get a better deal in the US, assuming Sony decides to sell the bundle on this side of the Atlantic.
