PS3 Orange Box release date still TBA

Oct 8, 2007

Valve Software's Orange Box launches on PC via Steam this week, with the Xbox 360 - and PC retail - version out October 19. But meanwhile, PS3 gamers are being left to twiddle thumbs while waiting for a confirmed release date.

Retailers are suggesting November 16 or November 23, but according to EA a precise release date has yet to be nailed down. The PS3 version is being handled by EA rather than Valve Software; the publisher is still listing the release date as TBA in its schedule. It's probably waiting to hear from Valve...

Previously, it was confirmed that the PS3 version of Orange Box would be out a few weeks later than the PC and Xbox 360 outings, but a lack of exact date is officially worrying. Is it going to slip into 2008?

In case you need reminding, Orange Box includes Half-Life 2, HL2: Episode One and Episode Two, Portal and Team Fortress 2. And it's going to be awesome. Look for our review later this week.
