PS3's 'exclusive' Splinter Cell content on Xbox 360
Spy girl really is a double agent
Splinter Cell: Double Agent on PS3's "exclusive" spy girl multiplayer character will be released for download for the Xbox 360 version of the game.
It was thought that the character was unique to Double Agent on PS3 when producer Mathieu Hector recently spoke about the latest version's multiplayer featuring "an additional new spy character (a spy girl)," but Ubisoft's said that isn't the case.
"...The female skins will not be PS3 exclusive, anyone who said/wrote so was confused by the fact that Ubisoft released information about thedownloadable contentand the PS3 version together," a community manager for the publisher said in official forums.
"The female spy skins will be part of the Double Agent downloadable contentfor the Xbox 360 as has always been the plan. I do not have any more information about thedownloadable contentat the present time but I was able to confirm that much," they added.

We contacted Ubisoft to find out a release date for the download, but unfortunately no one was available for comment at the time of writing.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent on PS3 also features two additional multiplayer maps based on new environments and new co-op challenges. Don't be surprised if Xbox 360 owners get these too.
