Punisher and Elektra show off their costumes in new Daredevil season 2 teaser

We're just over a week away from g̶r̶a̶d̶u̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶w̶a̶t̶c̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ binge-watching the new season of Daredevil in one sitting, and excitement is building. Here to make our wait a little harder is a new promo which highlights the costumes of the season's major players - Elektra, Punisher, and Daredevil himself.

Watch it below...

All three characters have got their own billboards too...

While Daredevil's costume doesn't seem to have changed too much from the suit we saw in the final minutes of season 1, the teaser gives us a great look at what could be Elektra's final costume and weaponry. Considering her scantily clad get-up in the comics, this is definitely one of those times when a 100% accurate page to screen translation isn't the way to go, and it looks like Marvel and Netflix have found a nice compromise.

The teaser also confirms that the Punisher's iconic skull emblem will be adorning his chest at some point in the series even though previous trailers indicated that might not be the case. We'll have to wait nine days to find out exactly when and why (not that we're counting).

Starring Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Élodie Yung, Stephen Rider, Jon Bernthal and Rosario Dawson, Daredevil season 2 arrives in its entirety on Netflix March 18.
