Quentin Tarantino says Kill Bill 3 is unlikely
And he also won’t be doing a Bond film
As you might have already noticed, Quentin Tarantino is often fond of talking up his future projects, no matter how far along the development process they are. However, he has recently spoken out to put one of those prospective projects to bed.
Tarantino had long mooted the possibility of Kill Bill Vol. 3 , even going so far as to say it would focus on the daughter of Vivacia A. Fox’s character growing up to take her revenge upon the Bride.
However, QT looks to have given up on that dream, conceding that, “I don’t know if there’s ever going to be a Kill Bill Vol. 3 . We’ll see, probably not though.” Which for Tarantino, is pretty much as definitive as you’ll get.
Anyone waiting for him to take the reins over a Bond film is also likely to be waiting a long time. Tarantino revealed that he was interested in making Casino Royale , but says the producers, “missed their opportunity”. So that’s that.
In the meantime, we do still have Django Unchained to look forward to, with that film opening in the UK on 18 January 2013. So it’s not all doom and gloom for Tarantino fans…
