The X-Files gets a quirky new teaser in the form of an animated trailer
Fox has released a new trailer for The X-Files, as excitement begins to build ahead of the show’s January return. While we’ve already seen a couple of teasers for the new series, this latest spot is pleasingly different from the usual promotional fodder, going for quirky animation in place of any actual footage.
"We must ask ourselves, are we truly alone," begins the voiceover from David Duchovny’s Mulder, "or are we being lied to?" Something tells us it’s going to turn out to be the latter...

That theme music still has the power to get the goosebumps going, doesn’t it? Co-starring Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi and Joel McHale, the new show will return for a six-episode run beginning on January 24 2016. The truth, as ever, is out there…
