Quiz: Can you guess the games from the one-star Amazon reviews?
Generally, Amazon reviews are very useful when considering your next games purchase; a sensible way of gathering the wider consensus on any new release, or bargain bin underdog. Note, however, our use of the word 'generally'. Look a little deeper, and even the best games are party to some one-star consumer ratings guaranteed to leave you incredulous. Or in stitches. Often both. We've gathered 15 of the worst – or should that be best? – such steamers here. But can you guess the games being dissed, simply by reading the one-star reviews which accompany them?

I'm GamesRadar's sports editor, and obsessed with NFL, WWE, MLB, AEW, and occasionally things that don't have a three-letter acronym – such as Chvrches, Bill Bryson, and Streets Of Rage 4. (All the Streets Of Rage games, actually.) Even after three decades I still have a soft spot for Euro Boss on the Amstrad CPC 464+.
