Which Mortal Kombat character are you? Let our personality quiz decide

For a franchise that was once envisaged as a 'star vehicle' for Jean-Claude Van Damme, I'd say that Mortal Kombat has done pretty damn well for itself. From gimmicky pot-stirrer to serious fighting title, this gory story has undergone a truly gut-busting array of changes since its early 90s debut. For one, the game's narrative aspirations have grown immeasurably, bringing along with it an entire cast of characters and transforming them from one note clichés into… slightly more interesting clichés.

There's the monstrous overlord, the good-hearted princess, the conniving advisor, a Bruce Lee wannabe, and more sorts of ninja than you can shake a shuriken at. Today's big ol' quiz aims to discover which of these skull-cracking icons best reflects you, the reader. Are you more Scorpion than Sub-Zero, more Kano than Kitana? Time to find out. It's Moooortal Kombat!
