Another lone blogger shook up a hornet's nest of controversy when he accused Sony's cute PSP blobathon, LocoRoco, as being a "product of unchecked institutional racism," calling out the similarities between the game's black Moja characters andracist 19thcenturyGolliwogg dolls. In response, Sony issued the following statement toNext Generation: "LocoRoco is a fantasy game geared towards a worldwide audience that takes place in a vibrant pastel world with colorful landscapes and characters and is not based on real-life places, people or things."
