Raindance announce cracking film courses
Get your movie made with the help of the Raindance Lo-To-No Budget filmmaking course
We have a definite soft spot for the Raindance Film Festival here at TF. Lots of festivals showcase independent flicks but Raindance also goes out in search of budding filmmakers and helps them get their scripts to screen.
A prime example is the Lo-To-No Budget Filmmaking course, held by Raindance founder Elliot Grove. The list of helmers, producers and writers who’ve taken the course and gone on to make box office-plundering pictures is jaw-on-the-floor impressive.
Chris Nolan, Guy Richie and Julian Fellowes all signed up and one of them married Madonna for God’s sake!
The course guides you through every aspect of development, from pre-production and budgets to sound and music; from getting the right actors to neat tips on getting the right shot and how to sell your flick.
The two-day course (2 - 3 December) is a gem if you’re sitting on a script or an idea but have no clue how to get it shot and then get it out there.
To book your place at a cost of £225 +VAT, call 0207 287 3833 or for information on all the Raindance training courses go to www.raindance.co.uk .
Then remember to invite us to your premiere… M'kay?
