Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault coming to PSN this year
Is it E3 yet?
Ted Price, president of renowned developer Insomniac Games, announcedtoday that his studio's next title will be an all-new "fun-sized" installment in the Ratchet and Clank series, released to tie-in with the company's 10-year anniversary celebration.
"Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is a fun-sized Ratchet adventure which will be available for download exclusively on the PlayStation Store," wrote Price. "We’ve returned to the series’ classic feel, camera, controls and weapons, while innovating and giving you a whole new way to play. Even better, the addition of online features means you can experience Full Frontal Assault with your friends."
Apart from that, Price offered no solid details on the title, though it seems likely that we'll be seeing the game in some form at E3 next week. Price also mentioned that we'll be seeing a specific release date for this Summer's Ratchet and Clank HD collection in a few weeks, along with a "special surprise" for North American fans.
Can you tell it's E3 week yet? Full Frontal Assault may already be the third new game announced today after the Dead Space 3 tease and the neat-sounding Guardians of Middle-Earth.
