Ray Liotta joins Muppets sequel
Funny how?
The forthcoming Muppets sequel has added another A-list name to its steadily swelling human cast, with Ray Liotta the latest to join the party.
Liotta has previous with the Muppet gang, having played a security guard in Muppets In Space , and apparently he was so taken with the experience that he's coming back for more.
No details are currently available as to the nature of his character, although it wouldn't be a total surprise if he were to be back in a custodial capacity. Tina Fey has already been confirmed as a prison guard, so perhaps Liotta will be a colleague of hers…
What we do know is that the latest Muppet movie will be a traditional caper in which our furry friends will take part in an adventure that leads them all across Europe.
Directed by James Bobin from a script by Nicholas Stoller, the film will open in the US on 21 March 2014, with a UK release to be announced in due course...
