Own a computery device thing? You can download SFX now!
We just wanted to let you know that SFX is available on pretty much every major digital platform: Newsstand for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, Zinio for PC, Mac and Android, Google Play for Android, and Barnes & Noble Nook.
Prices are the same across all digital providers, only the free trial periods are different. So whether you’re brandishing an iPad or an Android phone, you can get SFX at a bargain price with a chance to try before you commit.
The Apple Newsstand version of SFX occasionally comes with extra photo slideshows and video, including a filmed introduction from the editor. You can also see a coverline-free variant of the cover. All digital versions come with handy hyperlinks throughout. Apple users can also get every issue of Comic Heroes magazine for the bargain price of £1.99 each!
Buying the mag this way can cost as little as £2.49 per month (compared to £4.99 per issue in the shops) and the US prices are a bargain too. Keep your eyes open for regular offers. On most formats there’s a 30-day free trial on subscriptions – 14 days on Nook – so you can see what it’s like before you buy! And there’s cool stuff too – Zinio and iOs readers can get a copy of 1995′s issue one, to see where it all began!
