Red band trailer arrives for Friends With Kids
100% commitment, 50% of the time
A new red band trailer has been released for childbirth comedy Friends With Kids , and pleasingly, it’s much funnier than the green band effort that arrived last month.
Whereas that teaser seemed distinctly light on jokes, this new, foul-mouthed offering seems much more in keeping with the comic capabilities of its talented cast.
The film follows the journey of two friends (Jennifer Westfeldt and Adam Scott) who decide to have a child together, without any of the accompanying hassle of marriage, or even romance. As you can imagine, their plan hits a fair few snags along the way.
Take a look at the new trailer below…
Westfeldt is on directorial duties as well, but most importantly, she seems to have a great chemistry with Scott. Throw in a fantastic supporting ensemble including Bridesmaids quartet Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph and Chris O’Dowd, and this could be one of the better comedies of 2012.
Friends With Kids opens in the UK on 29 June 2012. If relationship drama mixed with a liberal dose of dick and poo jokes sounds like your bag, this could well be the film for you.
