Capcom has revealed the first few waves of Resident Evil Revelations DLC. Their announcement coincides with the release of the game’s launch trailer, which you can watch above. The Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC game is out today in the States and hits European territories this Friday.
The publisher will release weapon upgrades for each of the game’s playable characters in two separate packs, the Resistance Set and Enhancement Set, from June 4, with both individually priced at 160 MSP or $1.99 / €1.99. These will be followed by the release of two additional characters for the game’s Raid mode, which sees players taking on hordes of enemies across a variety of missions whilst levelling up. Rachael Ooze, the infected mutation of the mysterious blonde, and a female version of Hunk known as Lady Hunk, will each be priced at 240 MSP or $2.99 / €2.99 from June 11. Weapon upgrades for Jill Valentine, Parker Luciani and Jessica Sherawat will be released from June 18 priced at 80 MSP or $0.99 / €0.99.
An HD remake of last year’s 3DS game, Revelations covers events that took place between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, revealing the truth about the T-Abyss virus. We said in our Resident Evil Revelations review: “Though the asking price is a tad high, Resident Evil: Revelations is a worthy investment for those who miss the survival horror games of old or appreciate spine-chilling enemy design.”
