Rhythm Heaven Wii now Rhythm Heaven Fever and it comes out in February
Nintendo Power had the scoop on when the last great Wii game comes out
One of the pleasant surprises of E3 2011 was seeing a US release announced for the Wii iteration of one of the best quirky games from Japan, Rhythm Heaven. In the time since though, Nintendo has been pretty silent on the weird little title, instead focusing on certain hits like Zelda and Mario. The silence has finally been broken thanks to our sister publication Nintendo Power, as the newest issue confirms the game’s official English title of Rhythm Heaven Fever and that it comes out in February.
In the December 2011 issue (with the snazzy Resident Evil Revelations cover) there’s a multipage preview of the upcoming title, describing adorable music-based gameplay that involves monkeys with tambourines. The game and its simple one-button input have been out in Japan since July and Nintendo’s silence made us worry the game had been cancelled. Thanks to Nintendo Power we can sleep soundly tonight as we look forward to getting a case of Rhythm Heaven Fever this Feb.
