Rick and Morty season 5 is set to return very soon and it'll be worth the wait. 

For the first time in the show's history, Rick and Morty will be delivering a one-hour episode straight into our eyeholes. Even better, we now have a confirmed time and release date for what was once Rick and Morty episode 9 and has now morphed into something much bigger. Fans will remember the months-long break last season and can now rest easy that it's not happening on such a scale again.

So get ready to get schwifty: here's when you can watch the new Rick and Morty season 5 episode, as well as a look at what's come before.

Rick and Morty season 5, episode 9 release date is technically on September 5 at 11pm Eastern on Adult Swim. It'll be bundled with the 10th episode to form a longer finale. 

Over in the UK, you'll have to put your spoilers shields up for almost 24 hours as it's expected to arrive on E4 at 10pm on September 6.

'Two' episodes left, folks. Rick and Morty season 5 will return on September 5. We're getting both of them on that Sunday as part of a one-hour finale combo.
