Rick Moranis discusses potential Ghostbusters 3 involvement
Happy to return if the project is right
Dan Aykroyd might have suffered a series of setbacks and disappointments during his ongoing crusade to make Ghostbusters 3 , but from the sounds of Rick Moranis’ latest comments, he might be able to convince at least one former cast member to return.
Moranis played Louis Tully in both of the original movies, and has revealed that if the third film sounds promising enough, he could be persuaded to return.
“I got a call three or four years ago from an associate of Aykroyd’s,” says Moranis. "Some sort of producer. And he said, 'Listen, I gotta ask you something, because the internet says you’re retired…I gotta ask, would you do it?'”
“I said, 'I don’t say no to anything until everything is presented to me. What is it? Is it happening? Is there a script? What’s the part? Who else is in it? Where is it? How long is it gonna take?’ You know, I need a little bit more information."
Which sounds to us like he’s pretty open to a return, although when it comes to Ghostbusters 3 , we’ve learned to take everything with a large pinch of salt. Still, it’s better than an straight ‘no’, right Dan?
