Namco Bandai's pushed back the release date for Ridge Racer: Unbounded by four weeks. The title, which tweaks the Riiiidge Racer formula with a greater emphasis on sneaky shortcuts and user-generated racetracks, was set for release at the beginning of March, but will now come out at the end of that month instead. Developer Bugbear Entertainment, reports Namco, “felt they needed a little bit of extra time to optimise the game.” Well, if there's anyone that ought to know...
The delay also gives Namco's other new Ridge Racer, the one being used to launch the PS Vita, a month to itself on the new-release shelves – which'll hopefully shift a few more of those free month-1 DLC packs. Meanwhile Unbounded showed up with a new batch of screens this month to keep you interested while Bugbear gets the title release-ready.
