Rise of the Tomb Raider gameplay video fights a bear, twice
If your heart's still pounding from Lara's death-defying leaps at Microsoft's E3 2015 press conference, check out what comes next. A new video shows about 14 minutes of gameplay picking up right where the conference left off: with Lara bruised, winded, and alone in a frigid forest.
Her survival skills haven't dulled much since her time in Yamatai, so she quickly goes about finding dry wood and other camp supplies. She also knows that campfires are basically giant "come kill me" beacons for the paid killers stalking the woods, so all it takes is a few counter-ambushes and some help from a giant, ferocious bear to hunt this local subspecies of scummy mercenary to extinction. Did I mention there's a giant, ferocious bear?
You can play out your own bear attack survival scenarios when Rise of the Tomb Raider hits Xbox 360 and Xbox One on November 10.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
