Robert Downey Jr gets his Walk Of Fame star
As do Cameron Diaz, Ralph Fiennes, Tim Burton and… er… Rush?
It’s the time of year when the Hollywood Chamber Of Commerce announces which celebs have paid for... um... been awarded a star on the legendary Walk Of Fame that stretches from outside the Mann’s Chinese Theater, down Hollywood Blvd and takes a right turn onto Vine St (trust us, our Man In LA researched it).
This time around, Robert Downey Jr has nabbed the honour, fresh off his success with Iron Man, which we’re sure had nothing to do with it. They give you a star for turning up in people’s bedrooms too, right? Anyhoo, Cameron Diaz, Ralph Fiennes, Tim Burton, Canadian rockers Rush and Simpsons voice regular Harry Shearer are also getting recognised.
