Robert Downey Jr talks Iron Man 2
And Sherlock Holmes…
Robert Downey Jr is in serious demand at the moment. Not only is everyone looking forward to him getting back into the metallic suit of Iron Man, but he’s also about to start shooting Guy Ritchie’s updated take on Sherlock Holmes.
And shortly we’ll be able to see him as ultra-method Aussie actor Kirk Lazarus in Tropic Thunder. But what of his future roles? He sat down with IESB.net to talk Holmes: “We start October 6th. We’ll be making a contemporary version of a very classic portrayal of exactly how it was. But it’s not telling one of the stories from one of the books or anything like that. The cool thing about Sherlock Holmes was he’s actually a very skilled martial artist. It’s going to be a very action-packed version of that.”
He also got to talking with Latino Review , which dug for more details about the Iron Man sequel. Such as which of his fellow Avengers might turn up. You’ll have to click the link for more on that one.
