Rock Band: Songs for the drummers
Five stand-out tracks drummers should be crying out for
Nov 30, 2007
Burn your Les Paul and throw away your Stratocaster, because drumming is the new guitar playing. If playing Rock Band hastaught us anything, it's that the most satisfying instrument to play in a (virtual) bandhas to bethe drums.
So, with this in mind, we’ve racked our brains and scoured the internet to find five tracks that should keep the drummer happy, for a while at least. We’re hoping for a downloadable content pack put together with drummers in mind and once Harmonix hears about these gems we expect, no, insist on, at least one of these tunes being included on the tracklist. Just don’t try to play them on expert.
Phil Collins – In The Air Tonight
This track recently shot back into the UK charts, after a certain chocolate company used it to accompany a monkey bashing away on the skins,in acommercial for UK TV. The drums don’t really kick in until about 3 minutes into the song, but it would still be great to play along to.

Hi I'm James or JJ if you like, I'll answer to both. I'm the Executive producer for GR video which means I've had at least a part in all the hot moving pictures you'll find on the site (even if that part was just saying, yes that's a good video). I also produce the Future Games Show and Golden Joystick Awards. Away from the office you'll either find me playing Fortnite, or walking my dog. I'm better at one than the other, I'll let you decide which.
