Rocket League goes Back to The Future with DeLorean DLC
Where you're going, you don't need roads. Just the internet to download the Doc's DeLorean for Rocket League. In a surprise cross over, you can now pay the princely sum of $1.99 for that iconic car as part of the Back To The Future Car Pack on October 21st.
"We used to fantasise and joke about having the DeLorean in our game months before it even came out," says Psyonix Jeremy Dunham on the PlayStation Blog. "We were all such huge Back to the Future fans here at Psyonix, that it was one of the few 'Holy Grails' we had hoped for besides having a hit game. The fact that we’re getting both of those 'best-case scenarios' in the same year is an amazing accomplishment for us – they’re things we’ll never forget!"
Complete with folding jet-wheels and a signature 'Burnt Rubber' rocket trail, the DeLorean has been meticulously crafted to give you plenty of warm fuzzy nostalgia feels. Yes, I'm humming the theme now too.
