PC players might have gotten GTA 5 a fair bit later than everyone else, but they did get the Rockstar Editor, a typically fully-featured movie-making function built into their version of the game. It's made for some incredible stuff, from glitch-based comedies to full-on films (by way of actual, official music videos). And now it's coming to Xbox One and PS4.
Announcing the result of an Editor contest based around the Ill-Gotten Gains DLC (you can see the winning entry below), Rockstar snuck in a little bit of news: "The upcoming launch of the Rockstar Editor for PS4 and Xbox One as the next update to Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online means the next Rockstar Editor Contest will be the first one with entries across all three platforms".
There's no word as yet on when that update will drop, but when it does, the internet will become a significantly stranger place. I'm ready.
