You might not have ever heard of Rogue Trooper, but this genetically-engineered supersoldier and first-place winner in the Dr. Manhattan look-alike contest has quite the storied legacy, including a BAFTA-nominated game. Created in 1981 for the 2000 AD comic book series, Rogue Trooper (or "Rogue" for short) has been featured alongside characters like Judge Dredd and starred in several video games. He's been portrayed as both a tongue-in-cheek critique of militarism and an honest-to-goodness hero.
