Romero would tackle Tarzan
It’s a dream project for him...
Legendary horror overlord George A Romero has been out pounding the press tour for his latest zombie outing, Diary Of The Dead.
But while sitting down to talk with Entertainment Weekly , the director revealed that he’d like a shot at an altogether different genre. “The movie I’ve wanted to do ever since I was a kid, don’t ask me why, is Tarzan,” he told the magazine. “So if somebody came along and said, we're going to give you a bunch of money to go make Tarzan, I would immediately say yes. But then they probably wouldn't want me to do the real Edgar Rice Burroughs version.”
