Rumor: Jak & Daxter headed for HD reissue?
South African retailer leaks potential Jan 2012 release

With the God of War and Ico/Colossus HD collections proving quite capable at retail, could Jak & Daxter be next for an up-rezzed reissue? That's the possibility posed by South African retailer BT Games, which has listed a January 2012 release date for a PS3 package titled “Jak & Daxter HD Collection.” Sony hasn't commented on the listing, though “sources” have been hinting at something of the sort for months.

BT has since taken the listing down, a move which we won't get too speculative about; however, the title remains in the retailer's database, bereft of date, price or ordering info.

The series so far comprises three core titles – Jak & Daxter, Jak II and Jak 3 – and three further spinoffs. If God of War is any precedent, it'd be a surprise to see all these titles in one bundle (that series, you'll recall was split into an “HD Collection” and “Origins Collection”) – but who knows? Which Jak and/or Daxter titles would you like to see included in an HD reissue?
